FAShifts is workforce scheduling software. This page explains, plainly, what information we collect when a business and its employees use it, why, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

  • Account info: name, email address, and optionally a phone number.
  • Employment info: role, hourly wage, hours, and employment type, entered by a business's manager or owner.
  • Scheduling data: shifts, availability, time-off requests, and shift-swap requests.
  • Billing info: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store a card number ourselves.
  • Push notification token: if you install the mobile app and allow notifications, we store a device token (issued by Apple/Google through Expo) so we can send you a notification — nothing about the device itself beyond that token.
  • Technical/error data: if something breaks, our error monitoring tool (Sentry) automatically captures what happened — which can include your IP address and the page or request that failed — so we can fix it. Sentry also records basic performance data (how long a page took to load) to help us catch slowdowns, not to profile you.

Who can see it

Data stays within the business account it belongs to. Managers and owners can see their team's schedules, wages, and contact info. Employees can see their own full profile, and see coworkers' names and shifts (so they can arrange swaps) — never a coworker's wage or personal contact info.

Who we share it with

A short list of processors, each only to make the product work: Stripe for billing, Resend for account emails (invites, password resets, schedule notifications), Expo for delivering mobile push notifications, and Sentry for error monitoring. We don't sell data, and we don't share it for advertising — we don't run any.

How long we keep it

For as long as the business account stays active. If a business closes its account, we delete its data within a reasonable period rather than retaining it indefinitely.

Cookies

Two cookies: the session that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers which location you last selected if you manage more than one. Both are strictly necessary for the app to work — no advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing that tracks you across other sites. Full detail on the Cookie Policy page.

Your choices

Employees can update their own contact info and availability at any time from their Profile, and turn mobile push notifications off from the same phone's notification settings at any time. You can ask to see a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted — contact the business owner who invited you, or reach us directly, and we'll act on it within a reasonable time. The one limit: we can't delete data still needed for something we're legally required to keep, like billing records.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
